You might find yourself wondering, “Why do I keep ending up here?” Even when you try to do things differently, the same patterns can show up in your relationships, your thoughts, or how you feel about yourself. You may notice anxiety that lingers, overthinking that’s hard to switch off, or a sense of distance when things start to feel too close.
For many people navigating LGBTQ+ issues or experiences of migration and marginalization, these struggles can feel layered and difficult to untangle. At the same time, there’s often a desire to feel more grounded, more connected, and more at ease in your own skin.
Clients often come to me feeling stuck in patterns related to anxious attachment, avoidance, shame, intimacy, or sexual concerns. Together, we slow things down and make space to understand what’s happening beneath the surface. We focus on making sense of your emotional world so that change feels more natural, including exploring the impact of childhood experiences, identity conflict, and the anxiety of living in an uncertain world.
My approach is reflective, exploratory, and collaborative. I sit with you in the emotional experience, gently challenge patterns when needed, and offer tools that support deeper processing. Our work can hold both depth and lightness, where humour is welcome alongside more difficult conversations.
I was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. As a gay man in the Middle East, I learned early on that being my authentic self could carry real risk. This, along with working across diverse communities, shaped how I understand the layered realities many clients bring into therapy. My work is affirming of LGBTQ+, racialized, and immigrant experiences, and is kink-positive and non-judgmental. I also offer therapy in Arabic.
At its core, therapy is a space to better understand yourself and move toward living with more authenticity, clarity, and courage.
